School Financial Services current procedures

As a provider of frontline services within the department, the School Financial Services Team has responsibility for a range of grants and allowances and school related financial functions. It is the business owner of the Grants Allowances Payments System (GAPS) and manages the payment of more than $3 billion annually in state and Commonwealth funds to state schools, non-state schools, central governing bodies, long day care centres, non-departmental organisations, parents, students and hostels.  ​
